Cole Johnston

Thank you for visiting my website! I am currently a junior at the University of Tennessee - Knoxville majoring in Computer Science and minoring in Cyber Security. My interests within computer science include cyber security, (obviously), artificial intelligence, web development, software development, and space exploration. I truly enjoy learning about anything regarding technology and engineering, striving to understand as much as I can.

I have many hobbies and interests outside of computer science as well! For starters, I love to play sports. This includes basketball, baseball, football, surfing, wakeboarding, snowboarding, and more. If you can name it, I will probably play it. I absolutely love all the big science fiction icons like Star Wars, Marvel, and DC. Music is also an important aspect of my life. I listen to music when I do anything, and even have a dedicated coding playlist! Most importantly, I love hanging out with my friends and family. I am very extroverted and always want to be in someone's company.

My passion for computer science grows as I continue to pursue it. I am hoping to eventually get an internship or job at a major company like Amazon, Facebook, Google, IBM, etc. The innovation and cool concepts that are being considered at these types of places inspires me to continue working hard so that I can have the correct skillset to perform and excel within these environments. This website was created as a tool to teach myself HTML, CSS, and a some JavaScript.
